Randall “Randy” Keith Torbush, loving son, father and uncle, passed away on May 1, 2020 following a lengthy illness.

Randy was born on Nov 1, 1958 to John Lonzo and Lorene Howard Torbush.  He graduated from Riverdale High School in 1976 and began a long career with Delta Air Lines in 1978.  He took great pride in his job and was continually recognized for his outstanding customer service.  Randy married Kathleen Kaurin in 1980 and later divorced.  His pride and joy was their daughter, Jennifer Torbush Gatehouse, born April 17, 1982.  He later married Kim Haas who preceded him in death.  Randy enjoyed working on his father’s farm after his retirement from Delta. He was a very loving and devoted son, caring for his father and remaining by his father’s side during his final
years.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and an occasional camping trip with friends.  Randy spent his final years in Barnesville, GA where he made some incredible friends whom he considered family.  He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Torbush Gatehouse; granddaughter, Savannah Gatehouse; a brother, Ray (Libby) Torbush; sisters, June (Terry) Black and Janice (Glenn) Whitten; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at Columbus Hospice for their kindness and compassion during Randy’s final days.

Close friends and family will hold a celebration of Randy’s life at a later date.
