Richard Donald Carter, age 65, passed away in the early morning hours of August 18th, 2026. Mr. Carter was originally born in Atlanta, Georgia, but settled here in Fayetteville. A Jack of all trades to those who knew him, he will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, William Theo Carter; his mother, Annie Opal Carter, formerly Graves; his sister; and his brother.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Fogg; his uncle; his nieces; and his nephews.
