Robert Junior Scott was born July 31, 1929 in Hazen, Arkansas to the late Annie Mae and Robert Scott, Sr. After high school, Mr. Scott began his military career, where he served in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force. He was very proud of his service to his country. After his military career, he worked as an automotive mechanic for over 25 years and repaired televisions on the side. He was Baptist by faith and loved to minister to those in need including jail inmates or troubled youth. He would share different gospel music, crosses and church films with others at the drop of a hat while his health allowed. He was stubborn at times and always claimed to be right. He enjoyed other hobbies including riding his scooter, fellowshipping with others, spending time with family, and fishing.

We are so sorry for your loss. Although we didn’t get to care for Mr. Scott for very long, we enjoyed the time we spent with him. He was a true American hero and we are grateful for his service. We hated to see him leave our facility, but we understood that “there’s no place like home.” Mr. Scott will be missed.
