Mr. Roy Lee Smith (May 20, 1949) 74, of LaGrange, Ga. , entered into his eternal resting place on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He served his country in the US Army for twenty years and then drove a big rig with Vaughn Transportation. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Roy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Betty Smith of LaGrange, Ga, his son Troy Bryan Smith of LaGrange, Ga, his daughter Joni Pettit (Sam Pettit) of Douglasville, Ga. Ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His sister’s Judy Daugherty (Dwight Daugherty) and Bunnie Hawkins.
There will be memorial service held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 11 am. Eastern standard time at:
