Ruri Weldon beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Suwanee, Georgia passed away at the age of 80 on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.

Mrs. Weldon was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. She met and married her husband, Jack Weldon, in 1950. They moved to Georgia in 1951 and were happily married for forty-two years until his death in 1993.

She is survived by her 4 Children: Daughter, Bonnie Landress and her Husband, Gary of Suwanee, GA, Sons: William Weldon and his Wife, Linda of Tampa, FL, David Weldon and his Wife, Judy of Stone Mountain, GA and Paul Weldon and his Wife, Mollie of Social Circle; 9 Grandchildren: Jason Landress and his Wife, Nicolle, Adam Landress and his Wife, Diana, Shawn Weldon and his Wife, Priscila, Morgan Weldon, Sydney Weldon, Kristy White and her Husband, Chris, Kim Dunlap and her Husband Chase, Austin Weldon and Hannah Weldon;
7 Great grandchildren: Alli Landress, Walker Landress, Haley Kate Landress, Kaitlyn White, Sydney White, Taylor White and Jayden Dunlap.

Mrs. Weldon was an avid gardener and animal lover. She was also active with her Senior Citizens Groups and traveled as health permitted. She tended her flowers the way she cared for her family, with joy and happiness. She was a kind, loving, and generous lady who enjoyed cooking and traveling.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests performing a random act of kindness or a donation to The
American Kidney Foundation, or a blood donation to the American Red Cross. Any of these acts will extend God’s love in Mother’s memory. Mother, you are loved and will be missed beyond words by all of us.
