Ruth B. Boozer of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018. She was born July 18, 1931, in Columbia, South Carolina, but  lived most of her life in Swansea. She graduated from USC and taught school in the Lexington County School System for over 30 years. She retired in 1986 and enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family and playing cards with her friends. She wanted to be able to fish and be close to family, so in 2006, she moved to Lake Oconee in Greensboro, Georgia.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years Edward L. Boozer; a daughter, Debbie B. Turner; a son, Edward L. Boozer, Jr. (Eddie); a granddaughter, Heather L. Turner, four grandsons, Brandon, Jason, Kevin and Kyle Boozer; a brother, Joseph (Stan) Bailey; three nieces and a great-granddaughter.
