Ms. Sandra Fay Alexander, age 68, of Riverdale, passed away on April 30, 2017.

Sandra was born on April 1, 1949, in Tulare, California.  Our mom loved vintage clothing and at one time opened her own business called “Vintage Fashions”. Our mom sold “vintage” clothing to all with an eye for style. More than selling vintage clothing our mom also enjoyed searching for vintage clothing at “second hand clothing establishments” like, the Goodwill, and the Salvation Army. When mom was not looking for clothing she also enjoyed fishing, visiting casinos, and finding the best restaurants to enjoy a meal with family.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother: Lilian Tucker; brother: Mark Edmonds; sister: Diana Woods. She is survived by her husband: Henry Avery; daughter: Lilana Avery; son and daughter-in-law: Henry and Latasha Avery; grandson: Tobias Lee; brother: Phineas Alexander; sister: Gina Edmonds; nieces: Latisha Montgomery; and nephews: Carmi and Ricky Woods. Numerous other nieces and nephews survive.

A celebration of our Sandra’s life will be determined and the details will be forwarded at a later date.
