Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.

Shantel Samone Taylor was born in Akron, Ohio on December 12, 1977 to the late Debra and Larry Taylor. She was the second eldest of five siblings.

Shantel was a loving and devoted mother to Nasya, Giovanni, and Chance Taylor. They were the light of her life
and brought her immense joy and happiness. In addition to being a devoted mother, Shantel was proud of receiving her GED and attending beauty school. She was a car enthusiast, with her favorites being the Cadillac and Volvo. She also loved  rap, R&B music, and the color blue, which she was affectionately known as by many who loved her. She was kind and had a heart of gold. Shantel would go out of her way to help those in need, especially those who were grieving for the loss of a loved one.
Shantel was preceded in death by her mother; Debra Smith Pinckney, father; Larry Taylor, and brother; Jermaine Taylor.  She is survived by her three children; Nasya, Giovanni, and Chance Taylor; her siblings, Damian
Lopes, Darnell Billings, and Jill Papapanu, along with her step-father Norman Pinckney, as well as her step-siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and the many friends who loved her.
