1957 – 2024

Sharon Findlay, age 67, of Champaign, Illinois, passed away on May 2, 2024, in Duluth, Georgia. She was born on January 10, 1957, to Carl and Shirley Godbee.

She is preceded in death by her two sons, Jason and Matthew Findlay; and her husband, Robert Findlay. She is survived by her daughter, Nikki Findlay.

Sharon worked for the University of Illinois and retired to Cullman, Alabama with Robert Findlay. She loved “Big 10” basketball and traveling. Sharon was always looking out for everyone, and everyone thought she was the go-to person for anything.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Georgia Cremation in Duluth, Georgia is assisting the family with arrangements.
