Mrs. Sherry Lane Langdon “Chubbs”, 72, of Phenix City, AL passed away on January 7, 2022.
Mrs. Langdon was born on August 30, 1949 in Opp, Alabama to the late Quitman and Dora Bell Richardson.
Sherry enjoyed spending time with her family. Her hobbies included poker and gardening. She loved to travel and see her siblings. She always looked forward to getting quality time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren. She is remembered as a free spirit who enjoyed life to the fullest.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; David, Mack, Benny, Charles and Jimmie, and her sisters; Ellen and Jewel.
Her survivors include her husband of 41 years, Arvel Wallace Langdon, her daughter, Katherine (David) Walston, sons; Walter “Bubba” Hall and Jeffery Langdon, grandchildren; Hope Threlkeld, Heather Threlkeld (Ashley), Hayley Talia (Joshua), Miranda Deal and Brandon Deal, great-grandchildren; Ashton, Morgan, Madelyn, Chloe, Kyler, Korbyn, Jocelyn, Kayson and Troy, Sisters; Brenda, Margaret and Jeanette, and her brother, Pete.
A celebration of life will be held at 1Pm on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Calvary Tabernacle in Smiths Station, Alabama.
