Sherry Lynn Staines Gay, age 45 of Lawrenceville, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Sherry was born on November 17, 1975 in Nashville, Tennessee to Roy Adcock and the late Barbara Lynn Staines. She was deeply loved by all her family and friends. She loved her only child Robbie to the moon and back. Sherry enjoyed being outdoors, the beach, butterflies, and the Dallas Cowboys. In addition to her mother, Sherry was also preceded in death by her brother, Michael Bryan Adcock; grandmother, Barbara Greene; and grandfathers, Roy Adcock Sr. and Jack Greene. She is survived by her son, Robert Michael Gay; father & stepmother, Roy & Carol Adcock; sister, Sonja Santiago Ortiz; brother, Brandon Adcock; grandmother, Dorothy Adcock; boyfriend, Patrick Molelland; ex-husband, Jon Gay; her nieces and nephews, Trey Staines, Sarah Hope Bennett, Daniella Ramos, Tyler Staines, Elizabeth Soto, Riley Adcock, Madison Ramos, Austin, Ethan, & Lincoln Adcock; as well as her aunts and uncles, Marty Greene, Jan Greene, Wayne Greene, Tony Greene, Reba Smith, Carolyn Smith, Sara Hudson, Sue Keith, and Steve Adcock. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road SW, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046. Our sencere condolences. Gone way too soon. Sheri you will be missed by all. Your laugh was contagious . I will never forget it. So glad you were apart of our lives for so many years and for being a good aunt to Sky. We love you and will miss you.
