Shirley V. Robinson, age 72, transitioned peacefully September 25th, 2024 in Columbus, GA. She was born May 19th, 1952 in Eufaula, AL to parents Sophia and Charles Lewis (both deceased). A graduate of Glenn High School in Birmingham, AL and later receiving an Associates of Bus. Admin. degree from Columbus Tech. She worked 27 yrs at the Country Club of Columbus, retiring as the Food & Beverage Manager. Later working 10 yrs (part-time) at Publix. Officially retiring for the 2nd & final time October 2019.
Shirley lived in several cities throughout the US, including Tacoma, WA., Tampa, FL., and Colorado Springs, CO. before settling down in Columbus, GA. Shirley is a widow, last married to Eddie Robinson who passed away in 2008. She loved crocheting, crossword puzzles, video games, cooking, baking, and a delicious steak dinner or a juicy burger. But most of all, she loved being a mother to her only child, Kimberley. She cherished their relationship and many memories they made together. From taking numerous trips together to sitting on her porch and talking for hours. Shirley’s known for her beautiful smile and making a lasting impression on those she met throughout her life. Her kindness and sweet nature touched many lives. She was protective, generous, warm, and welcoming to family and friends.
She was the youngest of four siblings. Her beloved siblings Henry Lewis and Mary Alice Starkes precedes her in death. She’s survived by her adoring daughter Kimberley Lewis, eldest beloved sister Annie Maude Fortè and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held TBD.

My Aunt Shirley was a kind, sweet soul, she had a warm beautiful smile, I will miss my little “Sweet Tee” one of my little names, I would tease her with, I will miss her dearly; however now she doesn’t have to deal with anymore hurt or pain at last she is at peace. My Sweet Tee and my MOM are with their LORD and SAVIOR , Rejoicing!
