Susan Rynex Charpentier, age 76, passed away on December 30, 2025.

Susan was born in Washington, D.C. on April 23, 1949, to Eddy and Dorothy (Fairfax) Rynex. She grew up in McLean, VA alongside her parents and two brothers. Susan earned her high school diploma from McLean High School in 1968. She spent the majority of her life in Fairfax county, VA.

In 2003 Susan married the love of her life, Charles. The couple enjoyed 20 years of love, laughter, and making memories together.

Susan was a Jill of all trades. Throughout her life she wore many different hats. She worked at the Post Office and even drove a truck. She also worked at Herndon Intermediate as a middle school lunch lady, at Dart Drug as a receiving manager, she held the position of Assistant Vice President at Providence Savings and Loan, she worked in Lending, and she wrapped up her career in retail, where a kid can be a kid at Toys R Us. Upon her retirement, Susan and her husband, Charles, moved to Winchester VA, where they called home until Charles’ untimely passing. Later, she decided to move to Fayetteville, GA, so she could spend her time with her family.
