Ted A. Ramsay, Jr., 80, of Pittsview, Alabama died Friday, March 24, 2017 at Crowne Health Care in Eufaula, Alabama.
At Mr. Ramsay’s request, no public services will be held.
Mr. Ramsay, affectionately known as “Mickey” by his close friends, was born June 18, 1936 in Charleston, West Virginia, to Pauline Frutkoff and Ted A. Ramsay, Sr.  Mr. Ramsay loved to hunt and spent the last several years of his life enjoying his favorite hobby. He owned and operated his own electrical business, Ramsay Electric, for many years in Miami, Florida.  He moved to Pittsview, Alabama in 1994 where he managed the property of a local hunting club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and Ted Frutkoff; biological father, Ted A. Ramsay, Sr.; sons, Ted A. Ramsay III and Kenneth Ramsay; and grandson, Ryan Ramsay.
He is survived by his son, Steve Ramsay of Mexico Beach, Florida; daughter Teddi (Shane) Barney of Carmel, Indiana; Grandchildren Jesse Ramsay, Nikki Ramsay, Tori Ramsay, Grace Barney, Dmitry Barney, Ted Ramsay IV and Joshua Ramsay; sister Patricia Cugno of Miami, Florida.; and special friend Diane Upshaw of Pittsview, Alabama.
The family would like to thank the staff of Crowne Health Care in Eufala, Alabama for their exceptional care and support during such a difficult time.

    Thoughts and prayers to the family. I knew him as a very kind and caring person and will be missed by family and friends.Hunting will not be the same without him being there to greet us as we rolled in every season.

    Mr. Ramsay was a great guy! Always smiling!! I made some great memories at the Ramsay house while I was growing up. My condolences to all of his children and their children.

    I wish u would let me be around you. Never knew what it was like to have grandparents.Sorry Dad was a drug addict but that shouldnt have had anything to do with me. I love you thou ither way miss you Grandad
