Teresa Hopgood Wilson, age 56, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She was a graduate of Raleigh-Egypt High School and received her B.S. from Lemoyne Owen College. She was an active member of Oak Springs Baptist Church until relocating to Florida. For several years, she was employed by Arysta Life Science as the controller and owner of Kadazza Kids Learning Academy. Teresa was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and such a giving person.
Besides spending time with family and friends, Teresa had a passion for crafting, cooking, and shopping. She would often create artwork for family and friends to display in their home. She always had a bright and energetic personality and was known for always helping others. She touched many lives with her generosity and charismatic spirit.
She is survived by two daughters, Erica Wright and Bianca Smith (Anthony); grandchildren, Akiyah Dotson and Kaleb Pritchett; her mother, Ella Mae Davis; her siblings Gregory Hopgood (Nay Nay), Delwin Davis (Wanda), Tikisha Davis, and Marquita Davis-Robinson (Calvin); nieces, Jordann Davis and Dylan Allen; nephews, Quonterio Davis (preceded in death), Kinya Hopgood, and Kentaro Hopgood; and a host of other relatives and friends.
