Thomas Edward Kenney, age 56, departed life on November 26, 2021.
He was born on February 21, 1965 in Lakewood, New Jersey to Mary Jodino. He was a brother to Henry Kenney, Irene Kenney and Betty Ann Kenney of Lakewood, New Jersey. At a young age, he became a father to daughters Andrea Albert and Gina Cook. Thomas joined the U.S. Army in Columbia, South Carolina at age 19. During his service, he met and married Maria Yetman on October 26, 1991. From their union, Ashley, Zurika and Thomas Jr. were born.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jodino. Thomas is survived by his wife, Maria; children, Ashley Kenney, Zurika Kenney, Thomas Kenney, Jr, Andrea Albert and Gina Cook; grandchildren, Jared Laing, Kevin Browne, Jr., Christian Browne and one on the way, Athalia Williams. He is also survived by three son-in-laws, one niece and three nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 11 in the chapel at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Road, SW, Lawrenceville, GA. Visitation begins at 10 AM followed by the memorial service starting promptly at 11 AM.
