Vern always made me smile. He had so much joy and a quick wit that kept us all laughing. He was truly the picture of a loving dad, and always ready to get an ice cream to make things better. I will always remember him this way and expect to see him in Heaven ready with a joke. I’m glad to have known him.
Peace and continued blessings for your beautiful family.

Vern and Sandy have been our friends and neighbors for ten years. We always love to see him out and about in his “Fighting Irish” golf cart. His golf cart, like Vern , is truly one of a kind.
If you knew Vern at all there was no doubt about his love and devotion to his family. He loved Sandy ,all his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids to a fault. Portraits all over the walls of his home are a testament to this fact.
Vern, we will forever love and miss you. We were blessed to call you friend.

We’ll miss our dinner’s together and listening to Vern’s stories. He always made me smile and was a good sport when I’d wear my OSU shirts around football season. One of my best rounds of golf were with Vern – he had the ability to just enjoy the game with no worries about bad shots along the way. We will love and miss him always. Sending prayers to the entire family.
