Vickie Dyann Scott, 68 of Columbus, GA passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 26, 1956 in Columbus the daughter of Aseelah Monroe.
Vickie loved to cook and enjoyed spending quality time with loved ones. She dedicated the last years of her life to working as a CNA taking care of the elderly and ensuring they were well taken care of and protected. Those who had the pleasure of meeting her will always remember her sense of humor, beautiful smile and the love she had for her family.
Vickie was preceded in death by her grandsons, Chevrado Clark, Jr. and Christian Clark; her mother, Aseelah Monroe, her grandmother, Foye Suggs, her aunt, Margaret Walker, her uncles, Ronnie Suggs, Phillip Suggs and Rufus Suggs.
She leaves behind her daughter, Tanisha Boynton (Antoine), her son, Michael Scott, Jr. (Kimberly), six grandchildren, Devonte Welch, Amyra, Brianna, Aiden, McKenzie and McKayla Scott, her sister, Shante Williams, her brothers, William Heard, William Vanover, Jr., Kareem Hasan, her uncle, Albert Suggs (Melissa), Aunts, Marie Love and Francine Hernandez, her nephew who was like a son, Toney Sanford, her best friend, Linda Green (Keith) and many cousins, friends and family who will cherish her memory.

Georgia Cremation – Columbus is assisting the family with arrangements.

Vickie I remember when we first went out to eat at Rosehill. We sit there and we ate and laughed and talked and we had so much fun. I love you for that. I always will. I remember when you take me to Red Lobster I said the didn’t look right and you said taste . when I taste that I couldn’t stop eating that was so much fun I enjoyed you so much even when you used to come over to the house Aunt T oh no auntie OK I’m coming and you’ll be standing at the door with some for me and babe. I just can’t tell it all but I just love you and I’m really miss you. I look forward to doing something again but we will cause I hope we’ll meet in heaven. That’s gonna be a happy day.
