Mrs. Jodi Lynn Yates, age 56 of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away at her home on Sunday Evening of June 29, 2014.

She leaves two daughters, Kaitlyn Yates of Athens, Georgia and Brittany of Lawrenceville Georgia. Her Mother, Mrs. Sally W. Bates of Herrin, Illinois and her former husband Rand W. Yates. Mrs. Yates was born in midland Michigan, June 16, 1958 to Mr. Stanley Bates and Sally Bates. She attended primary school in Herrin, Illinois and graduated college at Florida State University. Prior to moving to Georgia she taught school in the California Area. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date for her family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a trust in her children’s names at any Bank of America in care of Kaitlyn N. Yates. Georgia Cremation is assisting the family with arrangements.
