Mr. Zachary Blanchard Simmons passed away on May 31, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Midtown.
Zachary was born on October 18, 1990, son of Keisha Campbell.
Zachary is remembered for his culinary skills that he demonstrated through his Hibachi Chef career at Wasabi. He was a fan of Auburn football. He had a passion for cooking and enjoyed gambling in his free time.
He is known for his outgoing personality and unchanging love for his family. He was a protector and looked for any opportunity to lend a helping hand to others.
He is preceded in death by his dearly adored aunt, Cat Moon.
He is survived by his mother, Keisha Campbell, his sister, Amber Campbell, uncle, Jeff Cook, maternal grandmother, Lynne Cook, his children who have not been named due to their young age, cousins, Cory Brown and Justin Hysmith and his bestfriend, Kyle Carswell.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Cox Funeral Home-Hamilton, from 4-6pm : 240 Walton Street, Hamilton, Georgia 31811.

Sitting at Wasabi right now and just found out he passed away. I only decided to try this location because I’d seen Zach in their ad online. I knew Zach from years back when he worked at Shogun. I was the police security at closing. He worked his way up the ranks to be a top-notch chef. He was also a skilled laborer and wouldn’t hesitate to learn a new trade. 🙏🏾
