Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.

Mr. David Henry Arnold, 74 years old of Senoia, GA peacefully passed from this life on August 28, 2023.

David was born February 3, 1949, in Turin, GA to Thomas and Violet (Hamel) Arnold. He grew up in Turin alongside his parents and two siblings. At the age of 17, his family moved to Manchester, NH where he graduated from West High School.

When he finished high school, Dave joined the United States Air Force, serving four years during the Vietnam War.

David made the brave decision to protect and serve his community. He attended and graduated from the Police Academy, joining the police force. He worked for the City of Atlanta and the Fulton County Police Department, where he held the position of Captain. Dave was in Law Enforcement for 30 years. After leaving the police department, he went to work for National Distribution for 15 years before retiring.

Dave was a devout Episcopalian, attending Christ the King church in Newnan. He loved the Lord and studied the bible every day.

Dave enjoyed hunting and always had a good time going hunting with his best friend, Joe DiRusso. He was somewhat of a homebody, and found joy in tending to his yard. He loved his family and his friends, and he will be missed terribly by all who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Lonney Arnold and Violet (Hamel) Arnold. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years: Dinah Teal Arnold; his daughters: Alisa (Heath) Cain of Senoia and Kristin Arnold of Senoia; grandchildren: Tyler Cain, Alana Arnold, Ethan Moore, and Bodhi Cain; his brother: John Arnold of Raleigh, NC; his sister: Debbie Nelson (Roland Lanteigne) of Manchester, NH: several nieces and nephews: beloved and dearest friends: Mr. and Mrs. Joe and Alesia DiRusso, Howard and Mildred Hoffman; and his furry companions: Tebow and Pepe′.
