David Timothy Heard (Tim), age 77, of Duluth, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Northside Duluth Hospital.
He was born on May 20, 1949, at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late John Owen Heard and the late Melba Burdette Heard. Tim loved life and made everything fun. He was a longtime sales representative for N.A. Williams Co. and later started his own company, Heard Home Improvement. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman, but more than that, he adored his family and was so very proud of them.
Tim is survived by his beloved “bride” of 54 years, Bobbie Heard; son, David (Sabrina) Heard; grandson Cole (Julia) Heard of Jefferson; granddaughter Brianna Heard of Duluth; great-granddaughter Lylagrace Heard of Jefferson; sister Jackie (Gary) Bond of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life, drop-in style, will be held on September 27th from 1-4 PM at David and Sabrina’s home, 3633 Pineview Circle, Duluth, Georgia 30096.
Arrangements are entrusted to Georgia Cremation in Duluth.

Bobbie, I’m sorry to learn of Tim’s passing. You are so correct of his love of the outdoors. I never remember meeting Tim, he was around since we were little kids. He enjoyed life as long I remember.
I hope to see you and meet the family in September.
