Gail and family,
I was so saddened to hear the news of Ed’s passing this morning. I enjoyed Ed so very very much. Not only was he the best boss I ever had, but one of the nicest human beings I have ever encountered. He was such an intelligent person, but also a very understanding one as well. His sense of humor and pranks will be remembered by us all. I wish you and yours all the strength and comfort the good lord above can provide. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gail and family: I am saddened today to learn of the passing of my friend and Musicland colleague. It has been so very long since I have seen Ed but the memories and that smile are indeed forever. He was a stand up guy who was always there with advise and support when we needed it in the field. John Roscoe said it so well. We will miss him and his humor and we all send our prayers and love to your family. dB

I am so sorry to learn of Ed’s passing. Ed was always full of cheerful, positive energy. It is how he approached every task and was a valuable member of the Musicland team. He was missed when you guys moved to Geiorgia, but I am grateful for those years that I knew him.

We are very sorry hear about the passing of our cousin, Eduadito. To his wife Gail, mother Graciella, brother Alberto, and to Graciellita his cousin who was like a sister to him. We will never forget the good times when he and Alberto arrived from Cuba at Ermindas home, in Minneapolis. Tino Egusquiza and family..Miami Florida.

Hi, Gail,
I went to Carleton College many moons ago. I was friends with Ed–not a girlfriend, but a dancing friend. The other guys were all klutzes in comparison to him. He just lit up any room he was in.
He was also charming, very funny and liked women as friends.
In later years, I learned about how important dancing is in the Cuban culture. I watched the memorial videos showing you and Ed dancing. They are so beautiful.
Then today in the Carleton Voice, I saw that Ed had passed way. I am so sorry for your loss. He really was a great guy.

I lived across the street from Eduardo just as he came with his family from Cuba. My brothers enjoyed Eduardo and we’d walk to the bus and I thought his manners impeccable and talked to him about his life in Cuba. I will never forget him. I’ve forever wondered where he went after Edina HS and about his family. And now I see here, he was at Carlton!
I’m greatly saddened for Eduardo’s passing, for your grief and loss and will keep him and you and all that loved and appreciated Eduardo, in prayer.
