Glenn Davis Falkner, 78, of Moreland, GA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2026, surrounded by family and his treasured pets. He was the most kind, gentle spirit, adored by many-a true friend to all. Glenn was born on Sunday, March 24, 1948, in Anniston, AL, the fourth child of five to John Calvin Falkner and Frances Davis Falkner. After graduating from Anniston High School and acquiring his undergraduate degree from Jacksonville State University, Glenn moved to St. Louis, MO where he finished his master’s degree at Webster University.

In 1971, Glenn began his 30-year career with the United States Postal Inspection Service, guiding him to work in 30 of the 50 States, from Hawaii to Maryland. In 1978, he was transferred to Atlanta to continue his focus on mastering his position his much sought after job with the United States Postal Inspection Service. It is here that he would cross paths by chance through a mutual friend with the love of his life, Deana Ann Neighbors. Deana and Glenn were married in August 1979, and just recently celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary.

Glenn and Deana moved to Peachtree City in 1992. They became members of the Peachtree City Church of Christ, where Glenn served as a deacon for several years and also as an elder for his leadership skills. Another honor that Glenn was chosen to serve in was as a member of the Board of Directors for Georgia AGAPE, Inc. Atlanta, a faith-based, not-for-profit organization serving children in a placement capacity to enhance their lives and future with loving families.

God has blessed Deana and Glenn with so much, but the two wonders of their world are their two children, Christopher Falkner and Erin Falkner Weathers. Glenn’s wife, family and grandchildren lovingly knew him as “Pop Pop”.

The Falkners traveled extensively, especially in the 50 states and Canada. The last trip that Glenn and Deana took was what was on their bucket list which was to venture to Norway.

Glenn developed many trusted friends in his career. During the last five years of his career with the United States Postal Inspection Service, he served as the Public Information Officer for the organization, requiring him to speak extensively with the press and the public when matters escalated to becoming public knowledge. One of Glenn’s closest friends in his investigating career and remained so after he retired is Dale Cardwell, the investigative journalist and consumer advocate based in Atlanta, Georgia. He and Dale fed off one another’s knowledge to complete their work.

Following Glenn’s retirement in 2000 from the United States Postal Inspector Service, he and Deana became the owners and managers of one of the top-rated collision centers on the southside of Atlanta, Body Magic Collision in Peachtree City for the next 22 years.

Glenn was an avid golfer. He loved many sports and was an enthusiastic fan of college football, as well as professional football and baseball. He cheered on the Atlanta Falcons football team and was a huge fan of the Atlanta Braves.

Glenn is predeceased by his parents, and three of his four siblings, Jeanette Falkner, Johnie Falkner and Gary Falkner. Glenn is also predeceased by his dearly loved in-laws Burton and Wanda Neighbors who treated him as their own son.

Glenn is survived by his wife Deana Neighbors Falkner, two children Erin Falkner Weathers (Kyle) from Moreland and Christopher Falkner from Freeport, Florida; his six grandchildren, Camryn Weathers, Callie Weathers, Charleigh Weathers, Preston Weathers, Davis Weathers and Ethan Falkner. He is also survived by his sister Ila Falkner Morgan from Puyallup, WA. He leaves his two nieces Stacy and Tammy, and his nephew Chad to treasure his memory, as well as a multitude of friends who loved him and will miss his smiling demeanor.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Peachtree City Church of Christ, 201 S. Peachtree Parkway, Peachtree City, GA 30269. The visitation with the family will follow the service.
