Celebrating the Life of Grady Anderson (October 26, 1955 – July 28, 2026) It is with heavy hearts but profound gratitude for his life that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, Grady Anderson. Grady was a man whose generous spirit touched everyone he met. He spent 50 proud years in the trucking industry, retiring from ABF Truck Line in 2018. More than anything, Grady was the rock of our family. He shared over 50 years of beautiful marriage with the love of his life, Sharlon. Whether he was hosting family cookouts, watching NASCAR, playing movie trivia, or just surrounded by his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, his greatest happiness was being with the people he loved. He truly would have given anyone the shirt off his back. We invite all who knew and loved Grady to join us in honoring him this weekend.

Sending my prayers for Grady’s sweet family. Such a family-man – good for a laugh and always welcoming. Enjoyed a visit with him at his home last year. He spoke highly of my parents which touched my heart. I trust he and my Dad are now shooting the bull about trucking and the like! So thankful that eternity will bring him a new healthy body – he fought a good fight while on this earth. “Buddy”, we love you. Burn up the streets of gold with your new Rig! Bet it’s a good looking Mack! “Rags” will be glad to see you!
