October 24, 1941 – April 24, 2026

Gwendolyn Lucille Jones age 84, of Columbus, Ga. passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, at the Columbus Hospice. She had two fur babies that she deeply loved, Gabby and Jazzy.

She is survived by daughters Sandra Melissa (Missy) Jones and Valerie Paige Jones. Grandchildren, Justin Jones (Jamie), Taylor Beach (Hope) and Sydney Hopkins (Cameron). Great grandchildren, Brewton Hopkins, Amerson Hopkins, Blakely Beach, Bash Hopkins, Audrey Jones and Austin Jones. Brother, Stephen Hill (Gail). And numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Louis A. Hill Sr. and Helen Pate Hill. Brother, Louis A. Hill Jr. (Kay) and Great Grandson, Baker Kade Beach.

A private celebration of life will be held at her home, 322 49th St. Columbus, Ga. 31904

In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Columbus.

Georgia Cremation-Columbus is assisting the family with the arrangements.
