Harry Joseph Holmes, age 85, died in his home in Lilburn, Georgia, on November 17, 2023. He was a Veteran of The United States Navy–proudly serving for 11 years, including during The Vietnam War. During his life, Harry never met a stranger and always saw the good in people. He talked to them about God, reminded them of God’s Love for them, and caused many laughs. Harry gave to others in ways that will be long remembered.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Susan, their children, Rebekah Schaeffer (Mike) of Peachtree Corners and Juniper Holmes of Lilburn, and three grandchildren, Andrew, Connor, and Anistyn. Memorial services will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lilburn on Sunday, November 26 at 1:30 p.m. Services will be for family and invited friends.
