Alice "Driggers" Rothmeier says
I want to offer my deepest sympathy to Mary, in the loss of your son. For his sisters, Angie, Delores, and Denise, I know your pain because I lost my baby brother, what will soon be 8 years ago. He was only 40 years old.
My memories of Jimmy are from what feels like a lifetime ago now. We were all living in Pt. Wentworth, Ga. I was around 13 years old when Jimmy and Ronnie Davis gave me the nickname “Spaghetti” , which was quite funny since he was a skinny giant!! I miss those days..
Rachel “Driggers” Hudson says
I am Alice and Sam’s little sister, Rachel, and was just a baby when they were all hanging out in Portwent Worth. Thought it was pretty neat when they all reconnected again and now Denise is practically a part of the family. We are all so sorry for the loss of Jimmy and hope y’all can take some comfort in the fact that he is not suffering anymore and in a much better place in Heaven!!

First of all I’m so sorry for Mary and Jimmy’s sisters it’s never easy to lose loved ones. I’m very very sad to hear of Jimmy’s passing. I am glad he’s no longer suffering though. I’m often asked who my best friend is and the answer hasn’t changed in the 39 years since jimmy and I left for boot camp. My brother in my mind jimmy. Though I never got to see him for quite some time I know we had a great friendship. I’m grateful jimmy had his awesome family to help him through all this. You will be truly missed by so many of us.
