Adam Waller, beloved chef, devoted husband, brother, son, and friend, passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 50.
Born in Marietta, Georgia, on March 22, 1976, Adam lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and quiet
strength. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1996-2002, achieving the rank of Corporal and serving as an ammunition technician.
After his military service, Adam became a respected Executive Chef in the Atlanta culinary community, working in many esteemed restaurants throughout the city. He was deeply loved within the industry for his talent, discipline, integrity, and leadership.
It was through the restaurant industry that he met his wife, Jillienne Gaddy Waller, and together they built a life as partners grounded in a shared love of all things delicious, animals, the beach, and laughing together. Adam was her rock and constant source of comfort and safety, and they shared a life of love, humor and simple joy.
To those who knew him best, Adam was kind, generous, and steadfast. He worked long hours throughout his life without complaint, often putting others before himself. Though quiet and stoic, he showed his love through actions and deep loyalty, and he had a playful, mischievous sense of humor that brought laughter and light
to those closest to him.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his kindness, strength, humor, and the steady, unconditional way he loved those around him.
Adam was preceded in death by his mother, Linda. He is survived by his wife, Jillienne; father, George; brother and sister in law, Dave and Kristi; brother Joshua; mother in law Arlette Gaddy. He is also lovingly remembered by his cats, Stinky and Booger, who were constant companions and a source of comfort and joy.
He will be buried with honors at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on June 29 at 11:30 a.m. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Adam’s name to Headstrong, a nonprofit organization providing military service members and their families with mental health treatments. A GoFundMe has also been set up to support Jillienne at this difficult time https://gofund.me/94c66e1d3

Jillienne, what a beautiful, beautiful remembrance of Adam! What marvelous photos also. That one of Linda and the boys; Those are the boys exactly as I remember them from my years at Tech! And Adam’s baby photo, plus his USMC photo; I’ll never forget that one framed along with Granddad Norman’s, both in their identical dress blues!
Love and Strength to you Jillienne, and the Peace of God that passes all understanding.
Love,
Uncle Phil & Aunt Gail
