Mark Anthony Scott, 66, of Jonesboro, Georgia passed away Monday, March 6 ,2023.

Mark was born on September 30th, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia.  Mark attended North Clayton High School.  Mark worked for Southtowne Hyundai of Riverdale for over 30 years.  He was an exceptional autobody technician who took great pride in his work, and he valued his Southtowne family.  He loved being a dad and he was a friend to everyone he met.  Mark loved to fish and hunt.  He was a devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons.  Mark had a very large family.  He is survived by his children: Jessica Gaiser and James of California, Lacey Hobbs and Chris of Texas, and Mellissa Allen and Wendell of Georgia.  He also leaves behind several grandchildren, siblings, nieces, and nephews.  Mark loved his dog, Harmony.  He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

    Mark Scott already Miss you my friend.been knowing you since 1979 Had a lot of good times on the Ave that’s Stewart Ave and in lakewood at Joyce tavern watched a lot of braves games together Falcon games a lot of Cold beers and food a lot of partying .watched your kids grow up.There won’t be another person like you. Love you my friend untill we meet again
