Mary Nancy Lester of Salem, Alabama died Wednesday, July 24th, 2019. She was born in Atlanta, GA to Frank Walter Luetkemeyer and Lula Maude Luetkemeyer. Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Frank Walter Luetkemeyer; mother, Lula Maude Norton Luetkemeyer ; brother Thomas Walter Luetkemeyer.
Nancy is survived by her husband, David Alton Lester; her daughter, Christian Faith Tracy; her son, Justin Frank Todd Tracy; sister, Elaine (Ronald) Piper; brother, Billy (Jane) Luetkemeyer; brother, Clyde (Pat) Cooper; mother-in-law, Pat Lester; brother-in-law, Greg Lester; sister-in-law, Lynn Luetkemeyer; 2 step children; 4 grandkids; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; uncles and aunts.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 in the Chapel at Cox Funeral Home, 240 Walton Street, Hamilton, GA 31811. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00 pm.

Nancy was clown!! She would literally have you in tears 😂😂. Our last encounter was via FB about three weeks ago. I’d posted a pic of me, my two girls for my 12 year old birthday. Nancy complimented the pic then ask JT where did you get that Michael Jackson wig from. Spit went everywhere!!! I was in tears laughing. We promised to get together once I get my prosthetic………….. 😭😭 I will miss you Nancy😍😍

I was so shocked to hear the news of Nancy’s passing. My heart is breaking for my nephew, David Lester. And my
Sister-in-Law Pat & nephew Greg Lester. May God Comfort you as only He can.
My thoughts & prayers are also with Nancy’s daughter, son, siblings, other family, friends & neighbors. Praying for God’s Comfort in your time of grief.
Nancy will truly be missed.

Hey mom just want to tell you I love you even tho we might not of had the mother son relationship a lot of people have you was still my mom and I was still your son and I’m sorry I didn’t come to your service but I didn’t feel welcome because first off I had no clue you was in the hospital or that they was about to take you off everything so I wasn’t able to give a proper goodbye I wasn’t even notified or asked if I wanted to help with the arrangements not even by sister but I’m sure you are looking down and can see all that but I’m glad I atleast got to talk to you the day you was coming home from your Florida trip be4 you was arrested and then this happening love your son Justin

Have so many hilarious memories of Nancy from our days at GreenPoint….she kept us in tears of laughter almost daily. Prayers for her family. RIP sweet lady. You were “one of a kind” and will be missed.
