Matthew John Pendergrass, age 42, of Peachtree City, unexpectedly passed away January 28, 2020.

Matthew was born on September 6, 1977 at Williams Air Force Base in Arizona. He graduated from McIntosh High School in 1997. He was a natural athlete from an early age. He was in the United States Army Reserves and then moved on to a variety of occupations. He was incredibly smart and excelled at all his endeavors. His most loved hobby was playing golf, and many can attest to his skill. He loved cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs, eating spicy food, making sure everyone around him was having a good time, and fixing everyone’s technology. He loved his family and close friends above all.

Matthew is survived by his parents: Hugh and Jamie Pendergrass of Peachtree City; siblings and their spouses: Kathryn and Daniel Best, Michael Pendergrass, Keri and Joe Inman, Mark and Liz Pendergrass; nieces and nephews: Gabriel, Natalie, Madalynn, Emelynn, Casen, Lillian, Bray, Isla, Rand and Everest; maternal grandparents: Joe and Beverly Bray; many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins; his loyal companion: TyTy the Doberman, who was his big baby.
