Maurine Pence Harbaugh, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on March 18, 2017. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Maurine Pence Harbaugh will be held 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church, Douglasville, GA.
Maurine was born on February 18, 1924 in Manhattan, Kansas to parents, Anna Holman Pence and Royce Pence, Sr.. She married Raymond E. Harbaugh and they were married for 60 years. They had two children and because of her life’s devotion as a Christian, raised her family as such. Maurine graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master’s Degree of Speech Pathology and English. Her lifelong goal was to always help other people.
Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Harbaugh. She is survived by daughter, Cathy Shaft; son, Ken Harbaugh and his wife, Kathy Harbaugh; 5 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
