I was heartbroken to hear that Melissa had passed. She was truly a valued member of our team and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of working with her. She brought so much passion to our department not only through her dedication and hard work, but her kindness and presence. No matter what she was feeling or facing she would always put on a brave face and push thru the day. I will never forget her or how her sense of humor and positivity always helped me get thru my own day. She may have been tiny but her heart and compassion were larger than life and I will forever cherish and miss that giant spirit.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Please know that she was more than a co worker but a fierce friends to all who knew her and this loss is felt by many.

Melissa was a person after my own heart for her love and care of animals. So many cats she took off the streets, had neutered and found good homes for. Dogs too!
She helped me and taught me so much at work, always so kind and knowledgeable to her customers, and such an asset. Melissa will be so missed at work. Another wonderful person gone too soon.

Melissa was such a wonderful and beautiful person, inside and out. A heart of gold. It was a honor in a blessing to know her. I Will miss her so much!
Chris says
Melissa was such a strong, resilient, caring and thoughtful person. Melissa would give her umbrella to a stranger on a rainy day. She would buy food for the man and his dog outside the grocery store. She always put others before herself. She loved animals. She would give up her own time to go help the lady who saw abandoned animals on her property. She did this regularly and put those animals needs before hers. She had a big heart and shared it with her family, friends, animals and strangers. Melissa was so proud knowing she would be a grandma. She would have been the best grandma! I know she was a great mom and a great aunt. She loved being with Victoria and her kids…best day ever! Melissa, you will be missed by all of the people you touched. I hope you are at the beach…enjoying your favorite place! Rest in peace, G.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Melissa’s passing. My locker was just above hers, and I’ll always remember how my apron strings seemed to find their way down into her space — a small thing that often made us laugh. Beyond those lighthearted moments, I truly admired her extensive knowledge and the way she was always willing to share it. She had a quiet confidence and patience that made her someone you could always turn to for help or guidance. Her kindness, wisdom, and warm presence made our workplace better in so many ways, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Rest in peace my friend

Melissa was indeed a beautiful person, inside and out. I extend my heartfelt condolences to her family—husband, mother, children, grandchildren, and sisters. May Jehovah, the god of all comfort, give you all the strength to endure the difficult days ahead (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Soon she will hear Jesus’ voice and wake up to be reunited with her dear family and friends on a paradise earth. What a wonderful day this will be.

I am definitely going to miss Mrs. Melissa walking by my desk saying “Good morning beautiful” not merely for the compliment, but moreso, the person giving it. She was one of the most beautiful people (inside and out) that I had the pleasure of meeting during my tenure at Home Depot. I am truly saddened by her passing. I would like to extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Melissa. May God give you strength and comfort to endure in the days ahead. In moments of sadness that are sure to come, remember that God is to wise to make a mistake and that our precious angel has gained her eternal wings. We loved her dearly but God love her best.
