Robert “Bob” Steven Reid, 72, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024 in Lawrenceville, GA, at home surrounded by his family. Bob was a deeply loved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Born in Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Henry E. Reid and Mildred R. Eisele. Bob married the love of his life, Margaret Reid, in 1982. Together they built a life that brought him his deepest joys, their daughter, Meghan Miller (Mark Miller), and later their four grandchildren Maxwell, Murray, Merritt, and Miles Miller, who affectionately called him “Pop Pop”.
In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, Bob leaves behind his sister, Roxanne Reid, and nieces and nephews.
Bob had a great appreciation for nature, fishing, and most of all, his family. He never missed a chance to tell his family how loved they were.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Reid was predeceased by brother, Roger Reid.
To honor Bob’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Bob’s remains will be scattered by his family and closest friends.
