Susan “Baboo ” Allan (Loftus) formally of Chesterfield, NH, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family in Fayetteville, GA on 3 June 2019 at the age of 81.
Susan is survived by her sisters Mary Hughes, Tina Peters, and her four children Debra Stephenson, David Hinckley, Dianne Lee, Dawn Hinckley, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Leo L and Louis E Loftus (Bigwood), her brother Billy Loftus and her husband David Allan.
Susan was born on July 16, 1938 in Worchester, MA to Leo L and Lois E Loftus.
She lived & loved wholeheartedly investing in relationships, by trying new things even when she was afraid, by sharing laughter and by being her authentic self. She did her best. She was successful in raising all of us, being a Baboo, a Nana and a Grammy to many other families along our journey in life- She adored being a surrogate Nana to kids and dogs alike. Her big worry in life was that nobody was taking care of the dogs…. in lieu of flowers if you so chose help Nana Susie take care of the dogs! She worked over the years with a few golden retriever rescues, she bred and raised dashounds when we were children. While in Texas her community service efforts and furry grandkids came from Gold Ribbon Rescue. In her memory donate using the “in Memoral of “Donation button Type her name Susan Allan and your address.
