Teri was the sweetest, kindest person. When we moved from Kentucky to Columbus, GA, she and Jack were always there to keep us from getting homesick. The kindness and goodness a person shows to others never leaves, but lives in the hearts and minds of the recipients. For my family, that is Teri’s legacy. Rest in peace until we see you again. Our prayers are with the family.

Please accept my sincere condolences. God knows the pain that comes when we lose a loved one. That is why God describes death as an enemy that he yearns to do away with (1 Corinthians 15:26). Our dear loved ones who are resting in death will soon be awakened and reunited with us (Isaiah 26:19). Hold on firmly to this beautiful hope, and may the wonderful memories fill your mind and heart.

Teri leaves behind many wonderful memories. As children we were raised up together in Storm Creek missionary church. We had slumber parties after evening Sunday services thru the summer months. Teri’s parents were so much fun and loved us all like their own. Teri and I were blessed to have been raised in Christian homes. We graduated together from Dawson Bryant High School where she was loved by everyone. Praying for her family and friends as we are so saddened

I am so shocked by this sad news. Teri and I were “thrown together” a lot at church – Storms Creek Missionary Baptist – when we were little. Her parents, Ken and Ruth, were very kind to my family, and we had a lot of fun and good eatin’ at their house in Coal Grove. I read Kim Fields Rice’s remarks, and I, too, remember the slumber parties that we had at Teri’s house. Fun times! Condolences to all of the family.

Teri Roop (Boss) I’m still trying to get a grip on this. My heart is broken. I have so many fun memories with you. The Masters, time on your patio in Augusta and of course the weekend we spent in Bama with you just to name a few. You were always such a happy person. So loving, so giving, so caring. I am so grateful that I got to spend some time talking to you before you passed away. I would t take anything for that phone call. You may be gone but you will never ever be forgotten. You will live in my heart forever. Prayers for your family as I know you there will be a huge void. I love you Boss!!!

It was heartbreaking to hear the news of Teri’s passing from a mutual friend. Teri quickly became much more than a work associate at Humana. She was such a sweet and caring friend and will be greatly missed. She once shared this song with me for a grieving friend and I have no doubt she, too, is dancing in the sky! Teri will forever hold a special place in my heart!
