Theresa Fiquett Beard, aged 88, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 22,
2024, at Columbus Hospice. She was born on November 15, 1935, at home, just outside of
Crawford, Russell County, Alabama. She was a long time resident of Phenix City, Alabama
and was a 1953 graduate of Georgetown High School, Georgetown, Georgia. She was
married to William Beard, who preceded her in death in December of 2018. For the past 5
years she was an active member of the West Phenix City Congregation of Jehovah’s
Witnesses. She is survived by her son Devin and Lolys Curley; a sister, Georgia Nell
Richardson; a brother Wayne and Edie Fiquett; two grandchildren Carissa and Samantha
Curley; and many nieces and nephews. Family, friends, and others are invited to the
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3755 S. Seale Rd., Phenix City, AL, Saturday October
5, 2024 at 3:00p.m. for a Memorial Service.
