Victor Wayne Biggs, 62, of Decatur, GA, passed away on January 3, 2024.
Victor was born March 28, 1961, in Orange County, FL, to Ollie and Carrie Sue (Byars) Biggs. He grew up in the Atlanta area and DeKalb county, GA, alongside his parents, four brothers and five sisters. Victor attended King Middle school and Roosevelt High school.
Victor was a highly skilled chef with a real talent for creating amazing flavors and textures. He spent over 40 years as a culinarian in high-end restaurants doing what he loved. He had a keen knack for organizing menus and people. Victor worked for twenty years at Houston’s American cuisine in Atlanta and then for another twenty years for Arizona’s steakhouse in Stonecrest. He was a very hard worker with a great work ethic!
Victor spent the majority of his life in the DeKalb county, GA area and was a known Atlanta Falcons fan. He enjoyed music, dancing, cars, and fancied old western movies. He was a boisterous character with a great sense of humor. Victor never met a stranger and everyone who met him absolutely loved him!
Victor will be remembered by his loved ones for being thoughtful and kind, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He was funny and always cracking a good joke. Victor loved people and parties and his presence will be greatly missed by so many.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents: Ollie and Carrie Sue Biggs; his brothers: Emmanuel Biggs, Louis Biggs, Norman, Biggs, and Floyd Biggs; and his sisters: Carrie Mae Arnold and Precious Biggs. He is survived by his children: Brandon Biggs of DeKalb County, GA and Blake Hollis, also of DeKalb County, GA: his grandchildren: Tkai, A’Najha, and Zawadi; his sisters: Stacey Biggs of Atlanta, GA, Sandra Biggs of Atlanta, GA, and Sheila Biggs, also of Atlanta; his nieces and nephews: Brionna, Aretra, Quentin, Barbara, Shureka, Tatianna, Sharon, and Paula; and his precious fur companions: Cassie and Bear.

So sad to hear about Victor… I worked with Victor at Houston’s years ago.. He always made me laugh.. I ran into him at Arizona’s a few years back with a friend of ours( Michael Henderson) He will always have a special place in my heart. Sending condolences to his family .

I prepared taxes for Victor for 30 years. The news of his passing has left me stunned. I knew that it was on my Victor not to come and get his taxes prepared the memories I have him will always be cherished in my heart.
