Ms. Zilpha Jackson, age 77, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on March 27, 2018.

Ms. Jackson was born on March 3, 1941, in Manchester, KY, to the late Kelly and Margaret Ann Jackson. She was a loving mother and a devoted grandmother.

Ms. Jackson was preceded in death by parents: Kelly Jackson and Margaret Ann Grubb Jackson of Manchester, KY; brothers: Alonzo Jackson, Duke Jackson,  Ernest Jackson, SA Jackson, Roy Buck Jackson all of Manchester, KY, and Coy Jackson of Detroit, MI; sisters: Opal Jackson of Manchester, KY and Virgie Street of Ohio.

Ms. Jackson is survived by her children: Melvin Jackson of Forsyth, Wilford Jackson (Jackie) of Locust Grove, Darrell Jackson of Jonesboro, Clint Jackson (Tanya) of Locust Grove, Melissa Jackson of Jonesboro, and Ronald Jackson (Jamie) of Jonesboro; brother: Ben (Kathleen) Jackson of Manchester, KY; sister: Cressie Messer of London, KY; many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 31, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at 10100 Silent Trail in Jonesboro, GA. Georgia Cremation is assisting the Jackson family.
